01. Charges against Minors

A child aged 13 through 15 who is charged with a serious felony may be classified as a juvenile offender.

A child aged 7 through 16 charged with a crime may be classified as a juvenile delinquent.

These cases are typically decided in Family Court. Although juvenile delinquents do not go to jail, juvenile offenders can be punished like adults.

If your child has been charged with a crime in Albany County or the Greater Capital District, contact the Calabrese Law Firm, PLLC, for a free consultation.
