07. Parole and Probation Violations
It is not uncommon for a person on probation or parole to be violated. Common probation and parole violations include a new arrest, failure to attend treatment courses, and failure to abide by a curfew or other condition imposed. The violation does not have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, but by a lesser burden.
A probation or parole violation should be taken seriously, as incarceration could result from admittance of guilt or finding of guilt upon the conclusion of a hearing.
